Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a surprise visit to Ladakh to review ground situation and interact with troops. He also interacted with injured soldiers. He was accompanied by CDS Bipin Rawat. Zhao Lijian, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson has told in his statement that no party should be involved in any action that would escalate the situation after PM Modi's surprise visit to Ladakh. PM Modi also did conversation over telephonic call with Russian President Vladimir Putin after successful completion of voting in Russia. Narendra Modi is the first leader after completion of election to hold talks with Vladimir Putin. Narendra Modi also talked over early dispatch of S-400 missile launch system. Power Minister RK Singh also confirmed that India will not import energy equipment from China. These moves came after India-China faceoff in Galwan valley, injuring and killing soldiers on both sides.
